Abstract: | Young adult fiction is a genre of fiction that is aimed at readers between 12 to 18 years of age. This thesis is a narrative aimed at familiarizing young adult audiences about biological concepts and climate change through fiction. The story is influenced by climate models on extreme weather patterns, loss of biodiversity, projections of social effects of climate change, and effects on agriculture, and how they interact in a post-climate change world. |
