Abstract: Millennials crave unique, live experiences. They want to be knowledgable about new opportunities, and the ability to enjoy them in the company of friends. This is the most socially connected generation ever, and yet no existing platform satisfies these desires. We propose an iOS platform called Rodeo. More specifically, we propose an in-app event creation process that is intuitive, efficient, and most of all, personal. Our software takes advantage of techniques in topic modeling and image classification to suggest relevant and individualized photos that a user can add to an event. This allows event creation in Rodeo to be exciting and personal. Through Rodeo, we take steps toward improving the way in which millennials discover new opportunities.
