Description: This report analyzes the consumer banking industry’s inclusion and diversity practices as they pertain to the race and ethnicity of its workforce, management, and suppliers as well as practices that affect communities of color, such as small dollar loans and bank branch locations. The report card assesses the performance of five of the leading consumer banks in the U.S. in recognition that they possess the greatest potential to influence industry trends, policies and practices. In addition, it will inform the public about career opportunities and realities in the consumer banking industry as the nation strives to strengthen its economy.
