Description: | "India has witnessed a massive transformation in the agriculture sector in the last 8 years of Modi government. Under his astute leadership, the agriculture sector has received a lot of attention as part of the Narendra Modi government's economic recovery and rural employment programme. To develop vast jobs in rural India, the Indian government focused on agriculture as a primary industry with complete back-end support for cold-storage. The goal of the emphasis was to internationalize India's agricultural produce. The government focused drastically on transforming the Food Corporation of India (FCI) by unbundling its operations into procurement, storage, and distribution for increased efficiency, in order to conserve the agricultural produce, that involved our farmers' sweat and blood. To keep farmers informed about agricultural developments, the government used technology to broadcast real-time data on production, pricing, imports, stockpiles, and general availability." |
