Description: The compendium presents information on poverty, food consumption, labor, and household income and expenditure. It is based on analysis of data collected in interviews during the a Household Income and Expenditure Survey (2019/20 HIES) in the Marshall Islands from June 2019 to May 2020. The data can be used to provide insight into household production and consumption habits and to better understand the socioeconomic situation of Marshall Islander population groups. These analyses were designed for numerous data users, including those in social protection, nutrition, labor, agriculture and fisheries, education and health, as well as across important themes, such as gender and social development.
