Abstract: | The study of computer architecture involves the understanding of complex hardware systems and how they interact with one another. This complexity and deep interconnectedness can offer a large degree of challenge to newcomers to the field and can often be opaque without the aid of visual tools. MIPSView provides a simple web-based pipelined implementation of the MIPS architecture for use in introductory Computer Architecture classes as well as for those just entering the space of Computer Architecture. |
