Abstract: | “Given the new demands created by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Commission has successfully responded to an increasingly dynamic internet space, turning to new media tools such as webinars, tweet chats and social media. The Commission has come a long way towards ending violence against women. We firmly believe that ensuring women’s equality is our shared responsibility as a society and that we must not stop until all women have access to a free and equal life. The Commission’s extensive work is the result of collaboration between various Ministries of Government, the Ministry of Women and Child Development, State Governments and State Women’s Commissions.” |
