Title: Computer Knows Best: A Computational Approach to Positioning in Teamfight Tactics
Authors: Liu, David

Department: Computer Science
Class Year: 2022
Abstract: This thesis details the design, implementation and further ideas for a computational solver working towards deciphering unit positioning in the game Teamfight Tactics. The project aimed to build and run a program which took in a set of units and output a unique positioning that it deemed to have the highest win rate against a broad set of positioning and compositions. The project was built in three stages: simulation code, a GUI and an algorithm. It was deemed a success and demonstrated thought-provoking recurrent trends that may change the way units are positioned in Teamfight Tactics.
