Description: "Since its independence, India has been a welfare state, with the well-being of the Indian people as the primary goal of all government endeavors. But somewhere down the line, the due focus was not given to the cause. But after the BJP government came to power in 2014, the efforts of the leaders started bearing their fruits. Also, planning has been a central pillar of Indian policymaking under the visionary leadership of Shri Narendra Modi and its accomplishment is the country's strength. The fundamental goal of planned development in India has been to eliminate rural poverty, which has been the focus of policies and initiatives. It was thought that a long-term plan for poverty reduction should be built on the premise of expanding meaningful work possibilities as time goes on. The core strategies on which all development plans are based are the elimination of poverty, illiteracy, illnesses, and inequality of opportunity, as well as delivering a better and higher standard of living for the countrymen"
