Title: Princeton All Sky Camera: Instrument, Observations, and Data Reduction
Authors: Robles, Christian
Advisors: Bakos, Gaspar A
Department: Astrophysical Sciences
Class Year: 2023
Abstract: This work builds and improves upon the Princeton All Sky Camera (PASC) which was developed as a junior paper by this same author. PASC is improved to better survive the elements and a more robust mounting solution was machined. PASC observed intermittently over the course of 5 months in which it captured a substantial amount of quality data. This data is reduced using IRAF/PYRAF to create calibrated frames ready for photometric analysis. In addition to this photometry, spectrophotometric testing was conducted on numerous optical filters which demonstrate that the direction of light travel through the filters does not impact their performance.
