Abstract: We attempt to read two papers that examine a setting where a signal sender can garble a payoff-relevant state of nature to influence a signal receiver to take an action that affects the sender's utility. We summarise the key results in Dworczak and Martini (2019) and attempt to motivate the solutions provided in Brzutowski (2022) by drawing parallels with the results and arguments in Dworczak and Martini (2019).
